Shelby County Obedience Club is a nonprofit organization whose members share a love of dogs & developing them into better companions. We also offer beginner obedience classes for the pet owner as well as conformation handling classes for handlers & their conformation dogs.

Registration is Tuesday, March 13th at 7:00 pm
for Public Beginner classes beginning
Tuesday, March 17th at 7:00 PM and
Saturday, March 20th at 10:00 AM and
for Advanced Beginner classes beginning

SCOC Bad Weather Policy
Meetings and/or classes can be canceled due to bad weather.
The weather shall be considered as BAD if the MEMPHIS CITY SCHOOLS have been closed due to the weather conditions.
Unless notified otherwise: classes will meet on the regular class day of the next week and be extended by the class missed, and club meetings will meet on their regular day on the following week.
Beginner
Obedience Class:
During the six-week session (one hour per week), dog owners are taught
the basics of training their dogs to heel on leash, sit, stand, lie down,
stay and come when called. These classes have the added advantage of allowing
socialization with other dogs and handlers in a group setting.
